St Helena Hosts a KHS Ceremony for Prescot Conclave
on Friday the 13th!

Friday 13th May certainly wasn't unlucky for W. KTs Andrew Baxendale and Peter Jones, who were the candidates from Prescot Conclave taken through the 3 Points of the KHS Ceremony at a meeting of St Helena Conclave. This was undertaken in the presence of our principal guest, P. Kt. Bill Bruce Divisional Junior General, representing the Rt. Ill. Intendant General.
Candidates Andrew and Peter were congratulated by P. Kt. Bill Bruce
under the watchful eyes of Ralph Dumbell (L) and Neil Cooper (R).
Ill. Kt. Neil Cooper (St Helena), Divisional Recorder, acted as Prelate for the 1st and 2nd Points with V. Ill. Kt. Ralph Dumbell (Prescott) taking the Office of Commander for the 3rdPoint. Neil and Ralph were well supported by members of St Helena and Prescott Conclaves and the Divisional Sepulchre Guard under the watchful eye of the Marshall, Stephen Gregory.  The standard of ritual was very high and much appreciated by Andrew and Peter and to the acclaim of all the W. Kt’s present.
The presence of the Sepulchre Guard always adds that special touch of dignity
and solemnity which makes the KHS ceremonies so special.
At the same meeting, E. Kt. David Hickman was elected MPS and W. Kt. Frank Laird Viceroy for the ensuing year. David thanked the Conclave for the confidence placed in them.
A cast of thousands witnessed the ceremony
and later enjoyed a very convivial festive board.
